Naši dobrovolníci se účastní mezinárodního vzdělávacího projektu GRUNDTVIG

Ve dnech 24. – 27. října 2012 se vydaly dobrovolnice Jihomoravské komunitní nadace Michaela Blažková, Kateřina Hájková a Eliška Krutáková a ředitelka JMKN Zlata Maděřičová do města Odorheiu Secuiesc v Rumunsku. Právě zde se odehrála první studijní cesta na téma fundraising (zapojování dárců do činnosti nadace), na které se sešli zástupci čtyř evropských komunitních nadací (Polsko, Rumunsko, Bulharsko a Česká republika). Společným znakem partnerů je práce ve venkovských regionech. 

Tato první studijní cesta je součástí projektu s názvem Let’s develop philanthropy for sustainable communities podpořeného z Programu celoživotního učení Grundtvig. V průběhu realizačního období 2012 – 2014 se uskuteční celkem čtyři studijní cesty do každé z partnerských zemí, kde si budou účastníci v rámci tematických workshopů vyměňovat zkušenosti z praxe.

Rumunských workshopů se zúčastnilo 24 lidí aktivních v oblasti komunitních nadací. Zástupci nadací prezentovali své fundraisingové projekty, diskutovali, seznamovali se a poznávali region, ve kterém operuje Odorheiu Secuiesc Community Foundation, rumunská hostitelská nadace.

Další studijní cesta je naplánovaná na květen 2013 a uskuteční se v Polsku.

Projekt Let’s develop philanthropy for sustainable communities obdržel grantovou podporu v rámci Programu celoživotního učení (2012-1-RO1-GRU06-22713). Za veškeré obsažené informace je zodpovědný vydavatel a Evropská komise nenese žádnou odpovědnost za uvedené informace.

The Community Foundation of South Moravia participated in international workshops that took place in Odorheiu Secuiesc between 24–27 October. The other participants were representatives of Community Foundations from Bulgaria, Poland and Romania. The workshop was organized as part of the Grundtvig Partnership project Let’s develop philanthropy for sustainable communities. The project partners are community foundations established in small villages (rural areas). By this partnership, partners are going to learn how the Community Foundations can educate their communities to give, to get and to do for their sustainable future. During the implementation period 2012–2014, there will take place thematic workshops and experience exchanges. One of the main result of the project will be a CD by which everybody will have access to the best practices learned during this project.

The theme of this first workshop was fundraising. There were 24 participants. After the organization’s presentation took place the presentation of different fundraising methods used by the Community Foundations. Scholarship programs, charity auctions and concerts, fundraising sport events, exhibitions, realization of different calendars, development of different named funds and endowment etc. were the most interesting presented topics.

The four partners are active in small cities, in economically disadvantaged areas. The principle „little bits add up” is valid for all of them. They didn’t have big donors, but with the power and support of community members they know that everything is possible and they have great results.

The next workshop will take place in Poland in May 2013. This will focus on grantmaking activity of Community Foundations.
